Ravi Shastri to be sacked by BCCI after team India's World Cup exit

Team India’s head coach Ravi Shastri to be sacked by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after Virat Kohli and boys were knocked out of World Cup 2019. The BCCI has invited applications for positions for the senior India Men’s team — Head Coach, Batting Coach, Bowling Coach, Fielding Coach, Physiotherapist, Strength and Conditioning Coach and Administrative Manager.

The BCCI released a press statement which stated, “The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) would like to call upon interested candidates to apply for the following positions for the senior India Men’s team. Head Coach, Batting Coach, Bowling Coach, Fielding Coach, Physiotherapist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Administrative Manager.”


 

Team India started the World Cup 2019 on a good note but it ended on a sad note. After dominating the tournament throughout the preliminary stage they were knocked out by New Zealand in the semi-final. Virat Kohli and the team will travel to the Caribbean to play against West Indies. India and West Indies will play a Test, ODI and T20I series. India and West Indies will kick start the inaugural Test Championship.
