Ranji Trophy cricketer B Nagaraju was arrested for impersonating BCCI chief selector MSK Prasad. Prasad lodged a complaint with Machavaram police following which they arrested him near Vijayawada International Airport, Andhra Pradesh.

Nagaraju represented his state in Ranji Trophy and entered into Guinness world record in 2014 for playing cricket non-stop for 82 hours. The record brought him many sponsorships but Nagaraju used his fame to dupe people.

Nagaraju completed his MBA and aspired to become a cricketer but he later started doing fraud. HMS Dhoni duped one N Venugopal in the name of opening a cricket academy in the name of MS Dhoni.

He was also arrested for collecting 60 lakhs from Care Hospitals by posing personal assistant of Telangana minister. Recently he duped Murali, a Hyderabad based mobile company CEO and collected almost 3 lakh claiming that he was representing IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders.
