Pakistan pace sensation Wahab Riaz is adamant that his bowling partner Mohammad Amir is “one of the best bowler in the world”.
Wahab Riaz’s statement comes after Mohammad Amir formidable form in the World Cup 2019, where he is the third highest wicket taker with 16 to his name at an average of 20.43.
Turnaround in Amir’s game has been remarkable, espicially after the Champions Trophy in 2017, Amir has taken five wickets in 15 ODI’s at and average of 92.60.
“Amir we already know is one of the best bowlers in the world who swings the ball both ways. That puts pressure on the batsmen to play him,” Wahab was quoted as saying by PakPassion. “It’s a good combination right now, we are trying to take wickets and that is putting the team in a great position.” said Wahab Riaz
Pakistan will go face to face with Bangladesh on Friday at Lord’s cricket ground, They have to get a win over Bangladesh and hope for New Zealands win over the host England, in order to make it to the last four.
