Team India will be playing their first match of the ICC World Cup 2019 against South Africa on 5 June. In an interview ahead of their first game, Indian opener Rohit Sharma revealed many interesting facts about his team mate Shikhar Dhawan.

In an interview, Indian Batsman Rohit Sharma said, “He makes me wait in every game. Post the toss when we have to go to the field to bat, Shikhar Dhawan disappears”.

“I have to face the first ball of the innings, so I like getting to the field early. Its ok to start getting ready five minutes before work but its not ok to be late, but in case of Dhawan when he sees the players are going to the field, he has to go to the washroom.”

In the same Interview, Shikhar Dhawan also disclosed some facts about Rohit Sharma and said that “He is someone who forgets things very fast, once he forgot his passport in the flight. In retaliation Rohit Sharma said that Shikhar Dhawan is no less in forgeting things, he forgets his socks in every game and then I have to give it to him”.

Infact Virat Kohli also had mentioned this before that he had not seen anyone who forgets as much as Rohit Sharma does.

Talking about pressure on team India during the World Cup, Rohit Sharma said that there are more than 130 cricket selectors in India. We dont go into the match thinking that it is a World Cup game, we think its just a regular cricket match.
