Rohit Sharma is the only batsman in the world who has three double centuries in ODIs. Before Rohit, Virendra Sehwag had the highest ODI score of 219, which Sharma tried to break against Australia but was bowled at 209.

On November 13, 2014, Rohit Sharma broke the record of Sehwag against Sri Lanka by scoring a mammoth 264* runs, which is still the highest by any batsman in the world.

Rohit achieved this feat in Kolkata's Eden Gardens as he raced past, 100, 150, 200, 250, yes 250!

Rohit's third double-hundred was also against Sri Lanka on 13 December 2017, when he scored 208 not out.
