The 27th match of the Indian Premier League between Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians and MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings was very interesting. As the top two champions of the history MI and CSK of the IPL were on the mark to beat each other. After losing toss CSK came to bat first and managed to set a target of 170 runs for Mumbai Indians in their home ground Pune. As it was both the teams to win the match, and duo eyed on the victory but MI was faster than CSK and won the match by 8 wickets.

CSK's Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu came to open for the team against MI. Well, Watson hardly managed to stand for two over and walked out making 12 runs. Rayudu played a great inning and chased 46 runs from 35 balls by hitting two 4s and four 6s. The superstar of CSK Suresh Raina scored commendable 75 from 47 balls. He hit 4 sixes and 6 fours. CSK set a target of 170 runs against MI. Speaking of bowlers, MI's McClenaghan and Krunal Pandya took 2 wickets of CSK's batsmen.

MI's Surya Kumar and Levis came to bat first against CSK to chase the score and taste the victory. Well, the opener played a superb inning and were few runs far from the T20 half-century. While MI Skipper chased 56 runs from 33 balls. CSK's Harbhajan and Bravo took single wicket MI's. However, Hardik Pandya's and Sharma's unbeaten batsmanship led the team to celebrate the win.
