Kings XI Punjab skipper won the toss and invited the KKR to bat.

Kolkata Knight Riders have given a challenging target of 192 to Punjab. Chris Lynn came in and started batting fiercely. He added 74 crucial runs for his team and in only 41 balls. Chris hit runs with a strike rate of more than 180. He hit 6 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. However, Sunil Narine, who punished the bowlers in the first match could not do much with his bat. Whereas, Robin Uthappa played a rather fast inning and hit 34 runs off 23 balls.

Skipper Dinesh Karthik took the charge thereafter and added 43 crucial runs to the KKR's scoreboard.

Sran was the highest wicket-taker from Punjab along with Andrew Tye. They both took 2 wickets each.

KKR has set a challenging total but Punjab has what it takes to meet the totals like these.  The Opening pair of Punjab consists of one of the most destructive batsmen in the IPL. KL Rahul along with Chris Gayle are the biggest hitters of the ball and have the ability to provide his team with a firm base to build upon.
