IPL 2019: Steven Smith will not play in IPL 2019 for this shocking reason!
Steven Smith is all set to miss the upcoming Indian Premier League 2019 season due to shoulder injury he suffered during his Bangladesh Premier League stint. Former Australia captain also missed the Indian Premier League last year due to ball-tampering scandal in South Africa which hit Cricket Australia last year.
Steve Smith was retained by Rajasthan Royals ahead of Indian Premier League 2019 auction. Smith was about to make his comeback for the Pakistan series along with teammate David Warner. The news was confirmed by Cricket Australia.
Australia is currently playing a three-match ODI series against India and have lost the four-match Test series earlier this month by 2-1. Steve Smith and David Warner did not feature in this series as well, they are yet to complete their one year ban in March this year.
