IPL 2019: Suresh Raina becomes first player to score 5,000 runs in IPL history

Suresh Raina became the first cricketer to make a record 5,000 runs in the Indian Premier League. Suresh Raina was just 15 runs away before starting this season and he achieved the feat in the first match of the season. Raina now has 5,004 runs from 177 IPL matches. 

World’s biggest T20 league has started and the opener is between India’s two biggest superstars. After winning the toss MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings opted to bowl first and they were straight away setting the stage on fire. Virat Kohli and men were toppled for just 70 runs in 17.1 overs
