Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni planned Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli’s wicket. Dhoni placed Ravindra Jadeja at deep-mid wicket and Harbhajan Singh bowled him a short ball that’s when Kohli attempted a pull shot he threw away his wicket. Dhoni as usual proved that he is master of all.

World’s biggest T20 league has started and the opener is between India’s two biggest superstars. After winning the toss MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings opted to bowl first and they were straight away setting the stage on fire. Virat Kohli and men were toppled for just 70 runs in 17.1 overs.

Harbhajan Singh demolished Royal Challengers Bangalore’s top-order as skipper Virat Kohli was his first prey. Kohli lost his wicket for just six runs as he was caught by Ravindra Jadeja at long-on. Moeen Ali was the second batsman that RCB lost fewer than 30 runs. Ali was bowled and caught by Harbhajan Singh for just 9 runs.

South African batsman AB de Villiers was the only hope left for RCB but he was too out for just 9 runs. De Villiers played a shot on Harbhajan Singh’s first ball of the last over but Imran Tahir missed the catch. But it didn’t take long to get him out as in the next ball he was caught by Ravindra Jadeja.

Debutant Shimron Hetmyer lost his wicket on an unfortunate term as he was run out by Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni. Hetmyer was sent back to pavilion for a golden duck.

Imran Tahir picked up his first wicket as all-rounder Shivam Dube was caught by Shane Watson at slips for just 2 runs. Colin deGrandhomme was picked up by Ravindra Jadeja in the 11th over as RCB were 50-6.

Navdeep Saini went for just 2 runs when Imran Tahir bowled him a short ball and was caught by Watson at the slips. Umpire didn't give him out but MS Dhoni went for a review and the decision was changed to out.

Yuzvendra Chahal became Imran Tahir's third prey as he was bowled out for 4 runs and was caught by Harbhajan Singh.

Harbhajan Singh and Imran Tahir picked up three wickets each, while Ravindra Jadeja picked up two. Dwayne Bravo picked up one.
