IPL 2018: More than the fans I want to win the IPL cup, says Virat Kohli

The Indian Premier League is all about to begin from 7 April and the eight teams are busy in their practice. Every team want to work hard for winning the IPL trophy this year. Recently, Virat Kohli, the Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper said that has grabbed the headlines.
As per the reports of Indian Express, Virat said after the training session that more than RCB’s fans he wanted to win the IPL trophy.

He also said that he has been with the RCB since last 10 years and never crossed the final hurdle three times. RCB skipper further added that ‘I can assure you, my commitment is going to be 120 percent to try and achieve the goal this time.’

Virat Kohli has been with RCB since the inaugural of IPL and, despite the likes of AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, who also in RCB, Virat too had broken the several batting records many times in the IPL matches. But, Royal Challengers Bangalore never won the trophy even once.

Virat Kohli also said that over the years the batting of RCB has been a strong point. But, he thought that bowling department has been a massive boost for his team from this auction. He also added that he is very optimistic about his chances of winning IPL this year.

The team’s spin department boasts the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar and England all-rounder Moeen Ali while New Zealand’s Tim Southee, England’s Chris Woaks and Delhi’s Ranji Trophy star Navdeep Saini make up the pace roster.

The Indian skipper also said that RCB’s owners were mindful while buying the players for the team and also thought that which player would give the best contribution to the team.
