Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and chose to field first.

The Mumbai Indians have put up a brilliant performance in their last matches. After winning only 2 of the 8 matches, they have completely turned around the scene, they have changed their fate from a situation when they were on the brink of elimination. They have won three matches one after the other to keep their hopes for the title alive.

Mumbai Indians have the momentum with them and they will be looking forward to taking forward their present form. However, the race to the playoffs will be everything but easy and RR won't like to miss any chance of making to the next level either.

MI and RR have batsmen at the top who are capable of landing the early blows. Suryakumar Yadav has excelled in his new role as opener; the 27-year old is MI’s top run-getter and he will look to add more to what is already his most successful IPL season.
