In this match, KL Rahul made the highest score of his IPL career by hitting 84 runs in just 54 balls. After losing the toss, Rajasthan Royals came to bat first and made 152 runs by losing 9 wickets.
While chasing the target Kings XI Punjab completed the target in 18.4 overs by losing 4 wickets. From Kings XI Punjab side, Chris Gayle failed to give a strong start and got out on just 8 runs. Whether Mayank Aggarwal also got out on 2 runs.
Rajasthan Royals got its first wicket out on the third ball of their inning as their opening batsman Short got out on 2 runs. Whether skipper Ajinkya Rahane got out 5 runs. Well, it was a really difficult match for both the teams as they both needed this win for to be sustained in the tournament. KL Rahul's inning surely made an assured win or the team Kings XI Punjab after losing two back to back matches. Mujeeb Ur Rahman won the match of the by taking 3 wickets.
