Dinesh Karthik won the toss and chose to field first.

It is the 33 rd match of the Indian Premier League around and Chennai Super Kings have been dominating the season 11 since the very start of the season. Both the teams are happen to be among the favourites to win the title this season. However, KKR has been struggling finding balance in their team . For KKR, with the pack of wolves outside the Playoffs gathering lust for the Knockout stages, they need to win so they can sleep easy in the log cabin tonight.

Chennai Super Kings must be looking forward to winning this match to make their position in the playoffs certain.

CSK are definitely the more comfortable of the two teams at the moment, and KKR, who are just about in the top four, will want the two points to stay in the top four and create a distance with the teams in the bottom half.

Kolkata have a number of power hitters in their squad and they have been hitting the ball hard from time to time. Chris Lynn has had difficulties playing against spin, Robin Uthappa has also been hitting the ball crisply, but he is yet to convert his scores into big runs.
