Gayle hit back to back 4 sixes in the over of SRH's most dependable bowler Rashid Khan. That over the was the most expensive over of Rashid Khan in his whole IPL career as he gave 26 runs in that over.
Gayle also thanked, Virender Sehwag, KXIP mentor, for saving the IPL by buying him at the January auction. "I think Virender Sehwag saved the IPL by picking me (in the January auctions). Everyone says I have a lot to prove. I am just here to put some respect on my name," he said.
