Steve Smith and David Warner have been thrown out of the IPL 2018 due to their names coming up the Ball-tampering scandal. Although Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have managed to replace their captains with Ajinkya Rahane and Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson who will now lead Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively but the vacuum that has been created in both the teams' batting line up is something that is still a worrying point for the teams.

Steve Smith is set to be replaced by the Proteas Wicketkeeper batsman Heinrich Klassen for the Rajasthan Royals have found the perfect man for him to suit their batting needs. However, David Warner is yet to be replaced for a batsman that who justify the gap that he has left behind him.

To replace David Warner, the destructive opening batsman from England Alex Hales has been roped in. Alex Hales has a phenomenal record in T20I matches. Hales has hit 4704 runs in 174 matches at an average of 28.85. Alex Hales has 2 hundreds and 30 fifties in his career. Hales has played for Mumbai Indians earlier and his performance has been commendable. Sunrisers Hyderabad has roped in the batsman for 1 crore which happens to be his base price. With Alex Hales on their side, Sunrisers Hyderabad should be able to fill in the gap created by the departure of David Warner.
