IPL 2018: Chennai Super Kings can play big bets on these players during the auction
In the midst of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all set to make a return in this year in Indian Premier League (IPL) and the team's command will be once again in the hands of former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Dhoni has already made it clear that he was not interested in playing on behalf of another team other than Chennai. However, many teams had approached him before the retention policy, but decided to remain with the old team, who considered Chennai his second home. Dhoni had cleared a few days back that during the auction, he will try to bring some old players back into the team once again.

Ravichandran Ashwin
The Chennai team bought local cricketer R Ashwin in the initial days of the IPL. Ashwin has made his own identity in world cricket. Dhoni has also cleared that he would like to include Ashwin in the team.
Murali Vijay
Like Ashwin, Murali Vijay is also a local lad of Chennai. In 2010 and 2011, Vijay had played a major role in winning the IPL. After Ashwin, Vijay could also be a part of Dhoni-led CSK team.
Dwayne Bravo
Chennai's eyes will also be on all-rounder Trinidadian cricketer Dwayne Bravo, who has showcased a fantastic performance from Gujarat Lions last year. Bravo has played for Chennai, if Chennai is able to add Bravo to his team again, it can prove to be very beneficial for the team.
Faf du Plessis
Recently, Dhoni had said that we would try to bring back the players of the team like du Plessis and Dwayne Bravo. du Plessis had started his IPL career from the Chennai team.
Brendon McCullum
Last year, McCullum gave a good start in few innings from the Gujarat Lions side. McCullum has played a lot of explosive innings from Chennai too. In such a situation, Chennai will have to try their old explosive batsman McCullum in the team.
