India vs Sri Lanka: India concludes T20 series after winning last match by 5 wickets

Team India defeated Sri Lanka by 5 wickets in Mumbai T-20 match and claimed three match series with 3-0. At the same time, the Indian team has become the second team in the world to win the most international matches in a year. Team India has won a total of 37 International matches in 2017, including three formats of cricket.

The only team which is ahead of team India is Australia which this world record by winning the highest number of 38 International matches in 2003. However, Team India missed this world record by Australia, because with Mumbai T20 game, the Indian team has made a happy ending this year (2017).

Earlier in the match, after losing the toss, the Sri Lankan team set the target of 136 runs for India to face. In reply, Team India lost 5 wickets in 19.2 overs and scored 139 runs and won the match by 5 wickets. On behalf of Team India, Manish Pandey top-scored with 32 runs while Shreyas Iyer scored 30 runs. In addition, MS Dhoni scored 16 runs while Dinesh Karthik scored 18 runs to help India win. Jaydev Unadkat was awarded with Man of the Match and the Man of the Series award.
