In a major setback for Indian cricket fans, Team India's explosive opener Shikhar Dhawan has dropped out of the first Test against Sri Lanka starting on January 5. Guests will play 3 Tests, 6 ODIs and 3 T20 matches against India South Africa. The Test will take place from January 5 to January 28 in the 56-day tour, while the ODI and T20 series will be played between February 1-21.

In place of Shikhar Dhawan, responsibility can be handed over to Murali Vijay and KL Rahul as Dhawan is unfit due to an ankle injury.
