The Indian cricketer KL Rahul, who has been in headlines since Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’s’ episode of him along with all-rounder Hardik Pandya was aired. The duo young cricketers were roasted by from fans to cricket fraternity over their ‘sexiest’ comment on the national television show. However, ahead ongoing controversy KL Rahul is back in headlines but this time for his heartwarming gesture.

KL Rahul has won his fans heart by his warm gesture towards a senior cricketer. KL Rahul extended his helping hands for ailing former Indian cricketer Jacob Martin and donated the huge amount for his treatment. Jacob is battling injuries after a horrific accident in December last year.


Jacob had injured his lungs in a life-threatening accident and was on ventilator support in a Baroda hospital. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, he has made the largest individual donation to the family.

Earlier, Zaheer Khan, Sourav Ganguly and Ravi Shastri also contributed in funds to get the ailing former Baroda stalwart back on his feet. BCCI also sanctioned an aide worth Rs 5 lakh. Indian Premier League champions Chennai Super Kings donated Rs 3 lakhs for his treatment.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya’s brother and Indian cricketer Krunal Pandya sent a bank cheque to the family and asked them to put any amount they want.

Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul are in playing XI squad in against T20 series against New Zealand after BCCI lifted the ban on the duo cricketers over their 'sexist' comment on chat show.
