IND vs NZ, Fifth ODI: Ambati Rayudu, Pandya helped India to win the last match to seize the series with 4-1

The last match of the series between India and New Zealand has really turned out well for the team India. In the last match against New Zealand, the team has won the match by 35 runs. Team India's batsman Ambati Rayudu and all-rounder Hardik Pandya helped the team India to win the last match. Mohammad Shami got the title of man of the series for his amazing performance in the series.

First skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first, and while coming to bat the team faced a bad start with losing the early wickets. India's middle-order, which has been under scrutiny, delivered under pressure after the visitors were left gasping at 18 for four.

 

Rayudu (90 off 113) and Vijay Shankar (45 off 64) shared a 98-run stand for the fifth wicket to lead India's recovery before a spectacular cameo from Hardik Pandya (45 off 22) pushed India past 250. Ambati Rayudu won the man of the match for his brilliant knock of 90 runs. 

Pacer Matt Henry was the standout bowler for the hosts, taking four wickets for 35 runs while Trent Boult picked up three for 39.

New Zealand came to chase the score of 253 runs also had a poor start and lost three opening wickets on the score 38 runs. Henry Nicholls, Collin Munro, and Ross Taylor went early to leave the score in mid. However, then the captain of the team Kane Williamson and Tam Latham helped the team to reach 105 runs but here the skipper of the team left the chase game.

James Neesham played the best innings from NZ side and hit 44 runs in 32 balls. Whether talking about the bowling of Indian team, then Chahal got 3 wickets, while Shami and Hardik Pandya got two wickets respectively.
