The team India led by Virat Kohli is going to start their World Cup 2019 journey with the first match against South Africa. Well, team India will be looking for a great win streak after defeating South Africa in the first match, while South Africa, on the other hand, will be looking for to get a win after two back to back losses.

Now the fans of the South African team have started asking the selectors why there is no Ab De Villiers in the team. However, Jonty Rhodes begged to differ and said that now it was high time that the Proteas realised that de Villiers had retired and he wouldn't be available for selection. South Africa lost their first match against hosts England by 104 runs, while their second match they lost to Bangladesh by 21 runs.

Rhodes took Twitter and said that relying on a couple of players won't work and some poor batting resulted in South Africa to lost the second match. After the Sunday's defeat, a fan asked Rhodes, "Your country (South Africa) is seeing the lack of AB (de Villers) and (Dale) Steyn in the matches."

The greatest fielder of all time, Rhodes replied, "Whole team can't rely on 2 players; there is no more ABD. Batsmen got in and got out. Bad shot selection; so many top order players out "bowled" on good batting surface tells a story."

However, Rhodes feels that South Africa will make a comeback in the tournament and most of the people think that Dale Steyn and AB De Villiers 's absence is the reason behind the protests dismal show. "Sadly, there are many people saying the same thing; it's not rocket science! It will come; but for us SA fans, it needs to come sooner rather than later!!," he ended up tweeting.
