In photos: Cheteshwar Pujara blessed with baby girl ‘Excited and super happy’
Cheteshwar Pujara, India's longest format specialist and his better half Puja Pabari have been blessed with a baby girl. He is a 'happy' father now after his wife gave birth to a baby girl on Thurday.
Pujara said ,'I am excited as well as happy for the new roles in life." He shared the happy news with his fans on Twitter by posting a picture of himself with his wife and the new born and saying, “Welcome lil one. Excited and super happy for the new roles in our lives. We made a wish and she came true!”

He shared the picture of his newest addition in the family on Twitter. He recently toured South Africa for the three-match Test rubber, was naturally exuberant from the time he and his beloved were expecting. He also tweeted on their anniversary with Puja and wrote, "5 years of togetherness and a little one coming soon, to the best times ahead."

Cheteshwar posted in December, 2017 on Twitter to tell that they are expecting their baby. "We're expecting our little bundle of joy this year. May the coming year be as blessed and happy for everyone as it'll be for us."

Having a tough time to make a mark in the limited overs, let alone the star-studded affair of Indian Premier League (IPL), Pujara intimated, "Perception I would say has played a major role. If you check my performance in List A (average of 58 plus over 88 games) and T20s (strike rate of 105.18 in 58 games), I still have a lot to offer in shorter formats. I am not at all worried as I know my opportunity would come at some point of time."
