ICC World Cup 2019: Ind vs Pak, Mohammad Amir's bold prediction about World Cup clash against India

On the brick of India and Pakistan clash at Old Trafford on Sunday, Pakistan left arm pacer Mohammad Amir believes that his side can definitely defeat India this time.

India-Pakistan rivalry, which is considered to be one of the greatest rivalry in the sporting world never seemed to have disappointed the fans, and this time also we can expect the same kind of thrill as it has provided in the past.

Amir’s statement came after Pakistan’s defeat against Australia, where they fell short by 41 runs in Taunton on Wednesday.

Pakistan will go face to face with India in Manchester on Sunday, and the men in green will be looking to get their first win against arch-foes India in the World Cup.

Pakistan can draw some confidence from the Chamions Trophy final in 2017, where the beat India by 180 runs.

“All games are pressure games in the World Cup, same for India. We’ll have to come with a positive mindset against India. We have to win every game now and we’ll try our best,” Amir was quoted as saying by PakPassion.

“Definitely, we can beat India. Today also our batting took the game deep. If we’re a bit more mentally strong, insha’Allah we will win.” added Amir
