ICC World Cup 2019: Ban vs Aus, head to head, stats in World Cup

With both the teams having played five matches each in the World Cup 2019, Australia and Bangladesh will go face to face in the 26th match of the tournament at Nottingham today.

Meanwhile Australia occupies third position on the points table with eight points to their name and a net run rate of 0.812, while on the other hand their adversary Bangladesh are placed fivth with five points and a net run rate of -0.270.


So far in the Word Cup, Australia have won four out of their five matches and have concieved defeat only against India where they lost by 39 runs.

Bangladesh have won two matches against South Africa by 21 runs and Windies by seven wickets and has lost two matches. Their match against Sri Lanka was washed out without a ball bowled due to rain.

ODI Record:

Australia are playing ODI cricket since 1971 and have so far played 937 matches, the second most, they won 570, lost, 324 and tied nine games whereas 34 had no outcome.

On the other hand Bangladesh have played 366 ODI’s with 124 wins and 235 losses and seven no result matches.

The success rate of Australia in ODI cricket is 63.62, whereas Banglasesh’s is 34.54.

World Cup Record:

Australia have been playing the World Cup since its introduction in 1975 and have played 89 matches till date with 66 wins, 21 defeat, one tied and one no result game. They have a success percentage of 75.56.

While Bhngladesh on the other hand have played 36 matches since 1999, with 13 wins and 22 loses and one no result match. They have a success rate of 37.14.

The two teams have met only twice in the World Cup so far and both the encounters were won by Australia. Today is the third time these teams are playing together.
