ICC U-19 World Cup: Meet young fast bowler who scalped Pakistan's batting line order

The Indian under-19 cricket team has already booked birth in final after defeating arch-rival Pakistan by 203 runs. In batting on behalf of India, Shubman Gill scored an unbeaten century to help the team in a strong position. From the bowling attack, Ishan Porel scalped four Pakistani batsmen in their opening three overs and made India very strong in the match. After Ishan, the rest of the team's bowlers did their job and the Indian team managed to beat Pakistan. The Indian team has won the Under-19 World Cup three times so far and now it is just one match away from achieving this feat for the fourth time.

The 18-year-old young fast bowler Ishan, who is also the hero of this match, has played in Vijay Hazare Trophy for Bengal. Ishan, a resident of Hooghly in West Bengal, has been at home since the beginning. Ishan's grandfather, father and his uncle are all kabaddi players.

No one in the family has shown interest in playing cricket before Ishan, but Ishan is playing cricket since the age of ten. Since childhood, Ishan is getting support from family members for playing cricket. Ishan, who was swimming at the age of 10, wanted to be a batsman. When Ishan reached the cricket academy in Kolkata, the coach advised him to become a bowler after seeing his hight.
