With a spectacular win, Prithvi Shaw & Co. scripted record in the good books of cricket after thrashing Australia by 8 wickets. The under-19 team India is the first team in the history of the event to lift the trophy for a record fourth time.

After tea, Shubman Gill and Manjot Kalra gave more pace to the innings. After Shaw's dismissal, Gill completed his 50-run partnership with Manjot. The two batsmen worked together to bring the team closer to the goal. Gill was dismissed on 31 runs. On the last ball of the 27th over, Harvik certainly played a big shot, but he was saved from getting caught out.

 

Manjot put three sixes and eight fours in 102 balls innings. Team India scored a 2/220 in 38.5 overs with a bang on Australia.


Chasing the target, India's second wicket fell to a score of 131. Shubman Gill (31) was bowled by the top Uppal. Subhman put four fours in his innings. Earlier, on the score of 71, Captain Prithvi Shaw (29) was bowled on Will Sutherland's ball. He also hit four fours in his innings.
