India clinches the title forth time in ICC Under 19 World Cup 2018 over Australia in the final after 2000, 2008, 2012. India is the only country to bag the title for a record of fourth time. A Smashing performance of Manjot Kalra and his unbeaten century helped India crush Australia by 8 wickets to lift the ICC under-19 World Cup title at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Saturday.

"This (U-19 Cricket) is a process of discovery, a process of learning.... learning about cricket and the skills of the game but also a process of discovery and learning of who you are as a person," India U-19 coach Rahul Dravid said in his tweet.

 

Australian could manage to chase 217 runs in the summit clash, meanwhile, India crushed them out in just 38.5 overs with eight wickets in hand. 19-years- old Karla marked his name in the history by chasing his century off 101 balls. Kalra became second Indian after Unmukt Chand to score a hundred in the U-19 World Cup final.
