In the 12th match of IPL Kings XI Punjab defeated MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings by 4 runs and with this KXIP got their second win and CSK got their first defeat. The hero of the match from Kings XI Punjab's side was Chris Gayle. Chris Gayle for the first time came to bat in this season and played hard-hitting shots and made fast 63 runs on 33 balls.

Chris Gayle also made a record of making his second fastest half-century in the tournament. Gayle made his half-century in 23 balls earlier he made half-century on 17 balls. With Gayle fastest runs KXIP set the target of 198 runs and while chasing the score CSK only be able to score 193 runs and got defeated by 4 runs. From CSK side, skipper MS Dhoni played a brilliant inning but despite hitting the six on the last ball the team didn't get the match.

While Dhoni was batting then he was seen in trouble and he was having back pain. However, he was suffering from pain for a long time but when it went out of control Physiotherapist came to give massage to the skipper. When MS Dhoni was having massage he was smiling then his old friend and KXIP batsman Yuvraj Singh came to him and start pushing his head. This moment was like an old memories moment for the Indian cricket fans who have seen both the players playing together for a long time.

 

This is to notice that in 2008 Yuvraj Singh started his IPL career from being a skipper of Kings XI Punjab and MS Dhoni as CSK skipper. Now once again the situation is same but this time Yuvraj Singh is not the captain of the team.
