West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo have showed some brilliant bowling efforts in past but on Saturday, Bravo came up with a one-handed stunner to rival them all. Playing for Melbourne Stars in The Big Bash League, Bravo shocked everyone when he pulled off a wonder catch to dismiss Marcus Harris.
Opener Marcus Harris, who plays for Melbourne Renegades in BBL was on 15 when Bravo stunned everyone with his one handed catch fielding at mid-on. After Harris was sent to pavilion, Aaron Finch and Sam Harper fell to Jackson Bird in the next over.
Melbourne Renegades were all-out for 121 in 19.3 overs. Melbourne Stars too didn’t start well as they lost Ben Dunk (0) in the second ball while Peter Handscomb (8) and Glenn Maxwell (7) leaving Stars tottering at 35 for 3 in 6.4 overs.
But Marcus Stoinis, who opened the innings alongside Ben Dunk, single-handedly won the game for the Stars with an unbeaten knock of 70 off 65. Hence, this was only their fourth win out the nine matches they played this season.
Melbourne Renegades are currently third in the table with 10 points but have played a game more than the Stars, who are sixth with seven points.
