Indian skipper Virat Kohli is known for using abusive words not just for opponents but for his own teammates as well. Virat Kohli on Tuesday abused Yuzvendra Chahal for a misfield and was upset with his lack of commitment.

The incident happened in the over bowled by Bhuveneshwar Kumar. Liton Das hit the ball towards mid-off where Jasprit Bumrah was standing. Bumrah threw the ball directly at stumps to attempt a direct hit but it missed the wickets and went towards Mohammed Shami who was backing Bumrah.

Shami failed to grab the ball and it was going to Yuzvendra Chahal who was backing Mohammed Shami, but Chahal was not awake to the fact that Shami had missed the ball and it triggered a moment of comedy on the field. The misfield cost one run to team India and Virat Kohli was not happy with Chahal’s commitment.

Kohli was captured on camera abusing Chahal and Shami as he said, “Beh*****d so raha hai waha pe.” Kohli often abuses players who piss him off during the match and this was just another incident of that kind.

However, the extra run did not come to haunt India as they beat Bangladesh by 28 runs to qualify for the semi-final. India will play against Sri Lanka on July 6 as their last league stage match.
