Aamir Khan wishes to cast Alia Bhatt in Thugs of Hindostan

Aamir is apparently keen to have Alia on board for his next film

 A lot has been reported about Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan with Amitabh Bahchcan. The film is made under Yashraj banner and the speculations about which actress will be cast opposite Aamir have been around for a long time. Earlier there were rumours that Alia Bhatt was offered this role, but later Vaani Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Fatima Sheikh’s name too were being discussed. A source says, “Alia is one of the contenders and Aamir is said to be in favour of casting her in the film. He said to have again spoken to Aditya Chopra about the same. However, the final decision is yet to be made.”

 Aditya apparently wanted  Vaani to be part of this project, but  recently Shraddha too was spotted visiting YRF studios. 

 The film is being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and is slated to release on Diwali next year. The buzz is that Aamir will play a pirate, inspired by the character of Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean.
