Fox Star Studios came up with an innovative promotional strategy. The corporate, which is distributing both Kabali, and Ice Age: Collision Course in India came up with a cross-promotional strategy wherein team Ice Age paid tribute to the Thalaiva of the industry, Rajinikanth.
With Ice Age and Kabali appealing to a different set of audience in India, the video in question has worked as a promotion tool for both the movies.

In other news, Ice Age 5 opened well at the Indian Box-Office as the film raked in around Rs. 8.50 crore in its opening weekend.
Rajinikanth's Kabali is set for a worldwide release on 22 July 2016. The Hindi dubbed version of Kabali will release in over 1,000 screens in India.
