Video: Deepika Padukone walks off when asked about engagement to Ranveer Singh. But how did he react?
When they are together, their chemistry is palpable. But fans of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have barely seen the power couple together since the past few weeks owing to the stars' busy schedules. However, recently the Bajirao Mastani pair were sighted together at the special screening of Madaari.
Deepika and Ranveer were talking to scribes about the movie when something quite unpleasant happened. A journalist questioned Deepika about her alleged engagement to Ranveer. This upset the actor and she said 'bye' and walked off.
However, Ranveer's reaction to the incident was interesting. He escorted Deepika to her car, came back and expressed his displeasure with the reporter's question. Watch the video here:
Earlier, while interacting with the media during the Manish Malhotra fashion show at FDCI India Couture Week, Deepika was asked the same question. However, that time, she took it sportingly and gave an explanation. She said:
"I think this is the right opportunity for me to clarify... There is no such plan anytime soon. I am not pregnant, I am not engaged, I am not married. I am not planning to get married anytime soon."
