Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt to soon romance the ‘Gujarati’ way?
At the trailer launch of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Karan Johar confirmed that they have planned a ‘Dulhania’ trilogy and another film with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt indeed on cards.
A little bird informs us that director Shashank Khaitan already has an idea for the third instalment of the franchise and will work on the same post the release of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The director plans to set the film in Gujarat with the lead characters belonging to a stereotypical Gujarati family.
‘Dulhania’ is the first ever romantic film franchise that began with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2013) which was a love story set in Punjab. The second film from the franchise, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is set against a rural backdrop from Uttarakhand.
The film releases on 10 March 2017.
