Director Vikramaditya Motwane's 'Trapped' will be showcased at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) for its North American premiere.

Starring Rajkummar Rao as a man locked inside his new flat without any supplies, in the main lead, the presentation of the movie helmed by Motwane will be special for the IFFLA alum filmmaker.

The 15th annual film extravaganza will also hold a special evening with legendary tabla maestro Zakir Hussain, joined by the Symphony Orchestra of India's associate music director Zane Dalal.

The event will begin with a screening of the documentary 'An Indian Accent', directed by Sumantra Ghosal, which chronicles Hussain and Dalal's collaboration on Hussain's original concerto piece Peshkar.

Filmmakers such as Alankrita Shrivastava ('Lipstick Under My Burkha'), Adoor Gopalakrishnan ('Once Again'), Sanal Kumar Sasidharan ('Sexy Durga') and Padmakumar Narasimhamurthy ('A Billion Colour Story') among others, will be attending the event.

The five-day festival will take place from April 5-9 at Regal L A LIVE: A Barco Innovation Center.
