Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen sharing the screen in Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to the blockbuster 2012 spy thriller, Ek Tha Tiger.

Media reports claimed that the film would see Salman Khan's character, Tiger, age from 17 to 70 on screen. However, Katrina Kaif, who will reprise her role of Zoya in the sequel, has denied these rumours.

In an interaction with a daily, she said:

"That's entirely wrong. He does not age at all. The film is set in today's times. It is set in one time period. There's no aage-peeche at all."

The actress, who was last seen in Baar Baar Dekho, also confirmed that Tiger Zinda Hai will take off from the point where Ek Tha Tiger ended.

"It is a sequel in the correct sense of the term. It begins exactly from where we left off in ETT," she said.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Tiger Zinda Hai is slated to hit the big screen on 22 December 2017.
