Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have teamed up for Vijay Krishan Acharya's Thugs of Hindostan, which might just be the biggest film of Bollywood.
Produced by YRF, the movie is said to be one of the costliest Indian films ever made and the estimated budget is said to be around Rs 160 crore. Thugs of Hindostan is a period drama and will capture the Thug culture that existed in India years ago.
Apart from the two superstars, the makers are planning to get an A-List Bollywood actress on board and speculations are rife that either Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif may be roped in.
The movie is expected to go on floors in January 2017 and the shooting will be wrapped up by the second half of 2017. Given the entire set-up, a lot of time and money will be invested in the post-production.
The period drama releases in Diwali 2018.
