Takadum is nothing like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: Homi Adajania clears the air about SSR - Parineeti film

Takadum, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra, which was expected go on floors in November 2016 will now start from the year-end.

While media reports suggested that there is a delay in the shooting schedule due to the similarities with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the makers have rubbished the rumours. In an official statement, director Homi Adajania said,

"It's nothing like that at all. We just felt that we needed to rework certain angles, mainly on the structure of the screenplay to improve it. Once this is done and we are happy with the changes we will commence the shoot process."

The movie will see Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra share screen-space for the first time in their career. The makers are eyeing a mid-2017 release.
