Simmba second weekend box office collection: Ranveer Singh starrer beats Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0

Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba has completed 10 days at the box office and the film has an amazing collection on its second week also. The film in only 10 days has beaten Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 to become the third highest grossing Hindi film of 2018. Not only this till now the film has collected more than 100 per cent profit from the box office.

Simmba has become Ranveer Singh's second highest grossing film after Padmaavat. According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film Simmba collected 39.83 crores in its second weekend at the box office. With this, the total collection of the film reaches to 190.64 crores. Simmba will enter 200 crore club in second week only and that itself a record for Ranveer Singh.

 

If believe to the trade experts the film Simmba will collect around 250 crores in the lifetime business. Let us tell you that Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 Hindi version collected around 188 crores at the box office. So now with the collection of 190 crores, Simmba has already beaten 2.0.

However, the highest grossing film of 2018 is Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju that collected more than 340 crores at the box office. While after that the numbers come of Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaavat starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor. Padmaavat collected around 300 crores and with this, it is on the second position.
