Shiney Ahuja slaps legal notice on Great Grand Masti over maid reference

Days after the film Great Grand Masti was leaked online - weeks before its actual date of release - the controversial adult comedy has found itself in trouble.

Actor Shiney Ahuja has slapped a legal notice on the makers of the film for allegedly naming a maid after him. Reports suggest that the film also includes scenes with the three leading men of the film, Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani, flirting with the maid, who is named Shiney.

The actor has alleged that the reference is a jibe at the rape case that he was embroiled in a few years ago. He has asked the producers to remove all the scenes of the maid named Shiney from the film and to extend a written apology.

In 2011, Shiney was convicted and sentenced to seven years' imprisonment by a fast-track sessions court for allegedly raping his domestic help in 2009 at his suburban residence. He was granted bail by the HC pending hearing into his appeal soon after.
