In the past, Shah Rukh Khan had revealed that he wants to be a part of five films that would make his children proud. The Bollywood star also revealed that he had not managed to do any such film yet. However, after the debacle that was Dilwale, the actor is now gearing up for a busy few months, which will see him experimenting with a number of interesting concepts in the form of Fan and Raees.
King Khan has also signed on for films with directors Gauri Shinde, Aanand L Rai and Imtiaz Ali. According to reports, the Imtiaz Ali film - touted to be a comedy - will see Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of a Sikh man for the first time in his illustrious Bollywood career.
According to latest updates, Anushka Sharma, who is currently busy shooting for Sultan and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, has been approached to play the female lead in the film. The actress reportedly loved the concept of the film and is excited about collaborating with Imtiaz Ali for the first time. Interestingly, the NH10 star was Imtiaz Ali's first choice for Rockstar and Tamasha. But things failed to materialise and Anushka lost out on the plum roles in both the Ranbir Kapoor films to Nargis Fakrhi and Deepika Padukone, respectively.
Though the actress is yet to officially sign the film, if things go as planned, the Imtiaz Ali film will mark the third time that Anuskha and Shah Rukh have been paired together, after their hits Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
