A lot has been spoken about the story of Alia Bhatt's next film, tentatively titled Walk and Talk, directed by Gauri Shinde. In the film, which boasts of a strong ensemble cast, comprising Shah Rukh Khan, Ali Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor and Angad Bedi, Alia will be seen essaying the character of a filmmaker who is looking for a subject for her short film.
In her journey to find a subject, Alia's character encounters different men with different perspectives on life and ends up dating them. The thought process of different characters she dates reflects in the short film she wants to make.

While Aditya Roy Kapoor will be seen as a furniture dealer in the film, Ali Zafar will essay the character of a passionate musician who is equally passionate about love. Angad Bedi and Kunal Kapoor will be seen as restaurant owner and film producer, respectively.
And Shah Rukh Khan? Alia Bhatt recently clarified that SRK has a very significant role in the film and it is not merely a cameo. Reportedly, the superstar will be seen essaying a character of his own age. In the film, he has a complete different take on life and becomes an inspiration for Alia Bhatt.
The plot does sounds hatke, though it will be interesting to see how Gauri presents the same on screen. The film, produced by Karan Johar, will release in the second half of 2016.
