Shahid, Kangana won't promote Rangoon together?

Two actors are apparently not likely to come together to promote their film

A lot has been written about how Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor, who star in Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, have not really got along well. The film stars Saif Ali Khan too and it is for the first time that he is working with wife Kareena Kapoor Khan's ex flame Shahid. In one of the interviews Kangana did admit that Shahid and she are not really pals. A source says, "On the sets of the film Kangana and Shahid never really got along with each other. They were often spotted spending time alone or with other crew members. Kangana and Saif on the other hand got along fine with each other. Now for promotions too, there is a possibility that Kangs and Shasha won't be seen together."

Apparently Shahid has asked the makers to draw a plan where he will not be required to promote the film with Kangana. A source says, "Shahid might not be seen sharing a stage with Kangana as far promotions are concerned as he is not comfortable with the idea. He said to have spoken to the marketing team for alternate promotional strategies."

In the past too there were reports on how Kangana was taking a lot of interest during making of the film. While Kangana has admitted that she is not friends with Shahid, she Is fond of Saif and Kareena. Shahid too has indirectly hinted about his cold war with Kangana by stating that the real hero of the film Vishal Bhardwaj, as Kangana had been saying in the past that there are three heroes in the film.

Rangoon is a period drama set against post World War II backdrop and was to release this year, however the release was delayed and the film is set to release on February 24, 2017.
