Say What! Amitabh Bachchan to play transgender in Akshay Kumar starrer Kanchana remake 'Lakshmi'

Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana did great at the box office and it turned out to be a hit at the box office as well. Now one Hindi remake of the film is also going to be made soon. Akshay Kumar will star in the Hindi remake of Kanchana and he will be playing the role played Raghava Lawrence. Raghava Lawrence played the role of a male protagonist who gets a ghost of a transgender whose aim is to take revenge.

 

Akshay already has started the shooting of the Hindi remake and now according to the media reports, one new face is going to join horror comedy film. According to the reports, the makers have signed Amitabh Bachchan to play a pivotal role in the film.

 

Kanchana Remake

According to the sources of Deccan Chronicle, Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in his career will be playing the role of a transgender. He will be playing the role of Kanchana, and Kanchana is the transgender who wants to take revenge of her death after entering in Akshay's body. In the original film, Sharad Kumar played the role of Kanchana.

 

Let us tell you that in the film Lawaris, Amitabh did a song called 'Mere Angne Me' where Big B did many female appearances. If believe to the reports, Kiara Advani will be playing the role of Akshay Kumar's wife.
