Salman Khan's Sultan opens to packed theatres, Twitterati dub it a 'hurricane'

Salman Khan's much-anticipated big Bollywood Eid release, Sultan, opened to packed theatres on 6 July.

Shows in Salman's homeground, Mumbai - even as early as 8:30am - saw fans lining up to watch the film, cheering for their 'bhai'.

On 5 July, the makers of Sultan organised a star-studded special screening of the Ali Abbas Zafar-directorial. The screening was attended by Dia Mirza, Subhash Ghai, Riteish Deshmukh, Kabir Khan, Huma Qureshi, Karan Johar and Prem Chopra, among others.

Sultan is expected to break a number of Bollywood Box Office records. And the stars who watched it seem to agree. The celebs took to Twitter to express their views about 'hurricane' Sultan.

Sultan has established itself as the Hindi film with the highest advance booking figures of all time. The film has achieved this feat not just in India but in the UAE as well.
