#CatchFlashBack: Salman Khan's relationship with journalists is the same since the 90s
Salman Khan shares a love/hate relationship with the media ever since his Bollywood debut. The actor, who recently faced a backlash from paparazzi while promoting Kick, had his first tiff with them in the early 1990s. Way back in 1994, the star was vocal about the fact that he does not like to speak to journalists as they often used to misquote him.
"Those journalists, they don't know the first thing about writing. Just look at all the junk printed in magazines, newspapers. Not one of them has done justice to me," Khan was quoted as saying by leading film magazine, Stardust.

Many times has Salman Khan has revealed just how much he hates to promote his films as he strongly believes that audiences will watch a film if the theatrical trailer is impressive enough.
"Why should I speak to them when they misquote me every time? No, I won't speak to them. Better still, I think I shall do the interview myself. Salman Khan on Salman Khan! How glorious, magnificent, divine!" said Salman Khan in 1994 after a streak of successful films like Sajaan, Baaghi, and Maine Pyaar Kiya.
Film critics haven't escaped Salman Khan's wrath either. If we compare the statements made by Khan now to the ones made in 1994, we can see that not much has changed.
