Producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala has revealed that he is working on the script of the second installment of Salman Khan-starrer Kick. In Kick, Salman played the role of Devi Lal Singh, an adventurous man constantly seeking a 'kick' out of life.
The film, an official remake of a Telugu movie of the same name, starred Jacqueline Fernandez, alongside the Bajrangi Bhaijaan superstar. Nadiadwala told PTI:
Salman had earlier announced that Jacqueline would not be a part of the sequel and that Kick 2 would feature a fresh pairing. While the producer has said that they have not finalised a leading lady yet, speculation is high that the coveted role may go to either Amy Jackson, Sonakshi Sinha or Kriti Sanon."We are still writing. It's in scripting stage. It will mostly happen next year. There is a pressure, but we are working hard on the script."
Sajid has an interesting slate of films lined-up for release in the next few months. These include the Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Baaghi, the John Abraham-Varun Dhawan starrer Dishoom, Vishal Bharadwaj's Rangoon and the third installment of comic caper Housefull.
