Kabir Khan's next project has been in the news ever since he announced that the film would star Salman Khan in the lead and would hit the big screen on Eid 2017.
Previously, it had been reported that the film would see the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor undertaking a journey of enlightenment from India to China. Reports had then claimed that the film would feature a Chinese actress and that it may rope in a Chinese production house.
However, according to the latest reports, the film is tentatively titled Tubelight and director Kabir Khan is reportedly in talks with Deepika Padukone for the female in the film. The film is reported to be a period drama set in the 1960's wherein Salman will essay the titular role of Tubelight.

The film goes on floors in July end-early August, by when she will have finished her commitment in Hollywood. The film is set in the 1960s".
"There is also another hero in the film, who will play the character of Salman's brother. The film is tentatively titled Tubelight, and that is also what Salman is called in the film," the source told the daily.
