Salman Khan (SKF) and Karan Johar (Dharma Production) have collaborated to produce a 'special' film starring Akshay Kumar in lead. Although the details about the film have been kept under wraps, the yet-untitled film will go on floors in second half of 2017 and the makers are looking for an 2018 release.
Though not as co-stars, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have teamed up for the third time after Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Jaan-E-Mann. The movie will be directed by acclaimed Punjabi director, Anurag Singh who is known for blockbusters like Jatt and Juliet and Punjab 1984.
With three giants from the industry coming together for the first time, the film promises to be a big ticket entertainer that would set the cash register ringing. Akshay Kumar is officially the busiest man in B-Town as the Khiladi has as many as seven films slated to release in next 2 years.
Karan Johar made the big announcement on twitter. Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have also confirmed the news on the social networking site, Twitter.
